OUTSIDE OF THE SKI RESORTS

We will go on a mission towards the mountain range with the best snow available within two hours driving from Åre. These touring missions will take the full day starting early and ending late. A helmet and good backpack is a must.

Avalanche gear is included. If you need touring gear or an airbag backpack let us know and we will find the best solution for you.

For those of you who are new to touring we will teach you how to use the gear, how to assess snow safety, how to use your avalanche gear and do a beacon search, and how to do kick turns. Followed by a touring mission up and a smooth ride down the mountain.

For those of you who have touring experience we will freshen up your beacon search and terrain reading skills and take you on a super fun touring adventure, with the possibility for multiple hikes in one day.
