Just a short forty-minute drive from The Nomads House lies the mesmerizing Jämtland triangle. It’s a fantastic three-day, two-night hiking route covering 12 to 19 kilometers each day. Last summer, I tackled this route solo, pitching my tent amidst nature’s beauty. The experience was so incredible that I’m eager to share it with other women.
For 650 euros, you’ll get a week’s accommodation at The Nomads House. During the best weather window in that week, we’ll hit the mountains for a three-day hike. On days off from hiking you can soak up the sun on our terrace, explore the area, or try mountain biking, kayaking, or swimming in the lake. Our cozy village offers charming shops, restaurants, and bars for you to discover.
Tents, mats, and sleeping bags are all included in the price. Just bring your hiking boots, a sturdy 45-liter backpack, and a few other essentials listed on our website. No worries if you’re missing something; you can rent gear from a top-quality store in town. We’ll also give you dehydrated food packages for the trip—lightweight, delicious, and providing all the calories you need.
Our adventure kicks off with a 40-minute drive to Storulvån, a mountain station near the Norwegian border. Day one is a serene 14-kilometer ascent, camping by a scenic river where you can pick wild berries. The next day involves a varied 19-kilometer route with ups and downs until we reach Blåhammaren Mountain Station—a spot for a stunning view and an optional sauna. The final day is a 12-kilometer downhill journey back to Storulvån Fjällstation. Oh, and good news, you’ll definitely spot reindeer along the way, and you can drink delicious water straight from the rivers everywhere during our adventure.
Feel free to hike at your own pace, enjoying solitude or joining in for social moments. If you’d like to listen to music, an audiobook, or a podcast, you are more than welcome to do so. I’ll have the necessary medical supplies to ensure everyone’s well-being. With emergency huts along the route and the flexibility to choose the best weather days, this promises to be a safe, enjoyable journey—a chance for you to create your own magical experience.
I have a limited availability of just five spots per trip, so be sure to secure your booking to avoid missing out. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
