THESE ARE OUR

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Introduction

This document lists the terms and conditions to which the Operator and the Client agree to adhere to from the moment the Client registers to a course and has paid the deposit.

For the purpose of simplicity, Nomads Academy (Tim Boffe, org. SE7704273239), as well as any and all of its employees, will be referred to as the “Operator”. The “Client” will refer to any and all people that represent the customer having registered to a Nomads Academy product by completing payment of the deposit. “Suppliers” will refer to any and all organisations which Nomads Academy has hired to provide one or more portions of the course package.

operator’s responsibilities

1. As the Operator, we agree to provide you with the course as it is described and advertised. We are responsible for following the course outline and schedule, as well as provide hosting and guidance within the location of the course, for the duration of the course. The instructional part of the package is not offered by a Supplier, therefore we will handle all inquiries, complaints, comments that pertain to it.

2. We are not responsible for the actions of our Suppliers. All complaints regarding them will have to be made directly to them, although Nomads Academy will be happy to assist you in speaking with the right person and trying to solve the problem.

3. We will not be held responsible in the event of an accident/injury/death/loss or damage of goods at any moment so long as:

  • The party affected is at fault for incurring damage; or
  • A third party is at fault for incurring the damage; or
  • Unusual or unforeseeable events/circumstances have caused the damage; or
  • The operator and its suppliers applied proper duty of care before, during and after the event that caused damage took place.

4. Snowboarding can be a dangerous sport and therefore the Client should have proper insurance covering them while practicing this or any other risky activity. The Operator reserves itself the right to check that clients have a proper travel insurance policy covering them for off-piste skiing in Sweden. The Operator also reserves itself the right to refuse providing lessons to people who do not meet this requirement.

Client’s responsibilities

1. The Client is responsible for providing all payments in due time. Failure to do so could lead to the loss of previously made payments, and the loss of the privilege of attending the course.

2. The Client is responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from the course locations. It is also the Client’s responsibility to make sure they are on time to said travel arrangements.

3. The Client is responsible for showing up to all activities with the proper level of fitness. The Operator reserves itself the right to refuse providing services to a guest who seems to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

4. A zero-tolerance policy will be observed when it comes to violence towards the Operator, its Suppliers, or other Clients. In the event that a client would be violent, a bully, or use abusive language towards anyone, the Operator reserves itself the right to discontinue any and all services provided.

Public health and travel advisories

1. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nomads Academy is committed to keeping its guests safe from infections at all times by following the recommendations from the Public Health Agency (Folkhälsomyndigheten) of Sweden, and/or all other countries where courses could be conducted.
